We're big fans of MoxieLash's magnetic eyelashes (such a game-changer). That said, some people don't want to wear false lashes, and those people should absolutely still road test their mascara at the bachelorette party. With rosy lips and a strong brow, this gorgeous cheek flush does all the talking. Sheer coverage allows this bride's charming freckles to shine through.

"Apply prior to application on problem areas so that they don’t go any darker (this is always elbows, knees, hands, feet, any severe dry areas). You have a strong sense of self, and you're confident in who you are and how you look. We appreciate the beauty and individualism that defines you. Play with different finishes like matte, satin, or metallic eyeliners for unique looks. Christina "Quis" Chen is a licensed esthetician and San Francisco–based makeup artist. Half-up, half-down looks are one of the biggest trends of the 2020s, but in 2022, we’re predicting that the style will be given a braided treatment and tons of extra volume.

Doing Your Own Wedding-Day Makeup? You Need to Read This

They recommend mixing their Rodial Soft Focus Glow Drops to create that effortless dewy base with no shimmer. All you have to do is mix them with moisturizer or apply them directly to the skin for a natural sheen. I owe a thank you to Zola Ganzorigt and Tom Bachik for creating my two favorite nail looks for Hailey Bieber that I used as inspiration for my wedding day nails. Blending her glazed doughnut mani with her wedding day nail look, I opted for almond-shaped Gel-X extensions with a pearly white finish. About three months before my wedding, I had my teeth professionally whitened for the first time (and the last…my teeth ached for two days afterward). I visited Sania’s Brow Bar regularly in the months leading up to the wedding and Sania coaxed my still-recovering-from-the-’90s brows back into fighting form.

A makeup artist - turned small business owner who loves all things beauty with an affinity for natural looks. Rosy cheeks have this beauty looking absolutely angelic for her romantic ceremony. Take note of how the eye composition was kept minimal, letting her dewy skin take center stage. We love looks that work for both daytime and evening, and this is definitely one of them. Neutral hues with a well-lined eye and smoked-out waterline fit fabulously with a cool nude lip.

Doe-Eyed Glam

However, out of all the industries I’ve worked in, bridal has always held a special place in my heart. From the early stages of my career, I developed an immense passion for working with brides, not only on their wedding day, but throughout the entire preparation process. This passion led me to establish Sarah Delaine Brides, a venture dedicated to providing brides with an exceptional and indulgent experience that extends beyond just the wedding day. "You should neutralize any uneven color on the eyelids," says Garcia. If you don't typically wear blush because you don't feel you need it, don't change that for your wedding day. "An easy way to see how much you need is to get your photographer to take pictures as you’re having your makeup done in the morning to check if you need more added," Garcia suggests.

Color-Correct Your Eyes

The color looks more natural, especially on blondes who don’t have natural dark-colored lashes to begin with. The end result still makes your eyes pop but looks much softer overall. Every element is subtle in the most stunning way, from the lightly filled-in brows to the flushed cheeks and the glossy pink lips.

This blue is the perfect example of why a pop of color should be incorporated into your wedding makeup look. Apply a sheer, shimmering shadow to your eyelids with your finger or a brush, and clean up any sparkle fallout before moving on to the rest of your makeup. Don't presume any and all imperfections can be covered up by makeup. In fact, go into this process as though you have no intention to wear foundation at all. Get your skincare routine all set months before your wedding day and don't change it. A mask every so often is fine, but if you want your makeup to be consistent, the canvas has to be as well.

Frankly, we'd love to see more of it after being introduced to this bride's glossy reception vibe for her beach-side nuptials. Her brown eye gloss is an ultra-flirty companion to high-shine nude lips and a touch of wet-look highlighter topping the cheekbones. Our hairstylists and makeup artists bring skill, experience, and professionalism to every job, whether that’s a glamorous wedding, corporate event, photo shoot, or movie set.

I got two or three facials with Christine Chin, known by some at the time as “Mean Christine” for her incredibly thorough extractions. I brought my husband along for my final pre-wedding visit to her Lower East Side spa for his first facial (and his last…the average male’s pain tolerance cannot handle Christine). A few months before my wedding ceremony, I visited David Shafer, MD, to get a sprinkle of Botox on my forehead to smooth, lift, and add radiance. Seven days before, I got a thorough facial with my dermatologist, Dhaval Bhanusali, MD that involved Laser Genesis, a deep cleanse, and LED light treatments. These days, “print media” doesn’t just encompass things like headshots and brochures, but digital images as well.

The winged liner on this bride takes her look up a notch, but by keeping the rest of her face luminous and minimal, the complete look isn’t too harsh or heavy. Shimmering champagne shadow, neutral pink lips, and soft skin make this look ideal for a neutral wedding look. It's especially perfect for those aspiring to a "myself but better" aesthetic.

This saturated coral lip and matching eyeshadow have a bright and citrusy appeal. This bride's destination wedding in Mexico certainly called for a heated look. A shimmering bronze eye, dramatic liner, and contoured cheeks give off a sizzling warmth. Add a splash of color for a romantic ceremony, but exercise some restraint and stick to just one.

For the smoothest skin, try using Yubi Beauty's Buff and Blend Duo ($24) to apply your liquid foundation for an airbrushed finish to your complexion. A smoky bronze eye paired with neutral lipstick looks beautiful with a white dress (or any color dress, really) and is ideal for wedding makeup because of how polished it is. Apply the bronze shadow as your base color and then build from there—it will set the tone perfectly for whatever else you add. When looking for beauty inspiration, check out our wedding hair and makeup articles. These provide a great deal of information about picking the best wedding hair stylist and wedding makeup artist. Deenihan says to use lip liner to cover your entire lip as a first coat of lipstick, even if you’re using a more natural shade. "Your lipstick might wear off after the first kiss, sipping champagne, and eating cake, but you’ll still have some color from your liner," she says. "My go-to are the Kevyn Aucoin Unforgettable Lip Definer pencils ($30)."

“Earth-toned smoky eyes with a soft shimmer help create dimension and subtle drama while pairing well with gleaming peachy nude or soft milky rose-toned lips,” explains Barber and Frankel. This subtle, toned-down bridal beauty look blurs the line between natural and glam. The defined eyes are balanced by the glossy nude lip color, giving the whole look an effortlessly chic vibe. If your wedding dress is non-traditional, playing with color in your makeup look is a fun way to further express your signature style. A pink wedding gown, like the one pictured here, calls for a rosy makeup theme.

But considering there literally isn’t anything else available that comes close to the Rebel’s performance, we will just have to hope it’s included in the next version. We love that the left earbud has a raised braille mark to make left and right easier to distinguish without looking, and that the app supports a phone-screen reader. In addition to these basics, the Sony app is filled with a cornucopia of bonus features and beta applications that range from pretty helpful to mostly superfluous. To reduce background and wind noise, Sony employs a combination of multiple microphones, AI software, and bone-conduction sensors to recognize when you’re speaking. They also serve to enclose your ears for noise isolation and provide a comfortable fit on your head. Inside each cup is a driver, which creates sound by vibrating an internal diaphragm when it receives an audio signal from a device. The advancements in wireless technology have significantly improved the sound quality of wireless headphones in recent years. While high-quality wired headphones may still offer the best sound reproduction, many wireless headphones now offer comparable sound quality, especially those with aptX and LDAC codecs. Sound quality is a must for us music lovers and it’s all about capturing the nuances of each note with precision. It involves frequency, distortion, dynamic range, and stereo imaging.

Ergonomically designed ear cups provide a better fit and seal around the ears, enhancing comfort and minimizing sound leakage. Because the ear cups are unsealed, sound is able to filter in and out, meaning you can hear your surroundings and people around can hear what you’re listening to. By the time the iPhone and other smartphones became ubiquitous in the 2010s, headphones were everywhere. With colorful Beats on one end of the hypervisible scale, a proliferation of new earbud and sport headphones offered less bulky designs to serve a world in which people carry and use mobile devices at all times.

In these ads, the iPod technology is foregrounded while the wearer disappears in shadow, making the human user a kind of fashionable mannequin for the technology. Apple hadn’t had a must-have product in years when the iPod launched, but the world was hurtling rapidly towards digital media and the iPod’s sporty-punk simplicity became the new symbol of millennial modernity. Instead, the XM5 relies on the grippy quality of the tips to keep the earbuds in place, and the unique flexible foam and silicone material ensures the entire tip molds to your ear canal shape. This pair offers adjustable ambient hear-through, which can function as a less-intense noise-cancellation mode. The lowest hear-through settings are essentially the ANC mode dialed down. He connects this fixture through an M-Audio USB interface to a Windows laptop, plays pink noise through the same speaker system, and uses the TrueRTA audio-spectrum analyzer software to see how much sound leaks through the earbud.

The new version reportedly offers improved performance, a more substantial metal chassis, a physical dial control, and wireless charging via a charging stand. Although this pair technically doesn’t have the ability to adjust the amount of active noise cancellation, the added passive isolation may help to reduce the sensation of eardrum suck. The adjustable noise cancellation guarantees the right amount of quiet. Many noise-cancelling headphones are limited to ANC on/off or maybe high/low/off, but the Bose 700 allows you to choose a reduction level from 0 to 10, so you can dial in the ideal setting for your comfort or activity. At the maximum setting, this pair measured among the highest levels of reduction for over-ear headphones while costing significantly less than the newer Bose QuietComfort Ultra or the Apple AirPods Max.

The second-generation AirPods Pro deliver exceptionally strong noise cancellation, even though the Bose QuietComfort Ultra Earbuds edge them out slightly overall. Nonetheless, the AirPods Pro wipe out deep, low-frequency rumble and are effective against more complex, higher-frequency sounds. Beyond ANC, Apple's Adaptive Audio mode gives you a more natural way to monitor your surroundings without letting loud noises harm your hearing and it works much better than Bose's equivalent mode. In addition, a USB-C port makes charging more convenient than the previous Lightning models. 1More’s SonoFlow over-ear headphones, our former budget pick, will get an update this spring.

The AirPods Max supports Dolby Atmos and Apple’s spatial audio, but not Apple Music’s lossless audio or any high-resolution service, even if you buy Apple’s Lightning to 3.5 mm Audio Cable for an additional $35. Call quality is excellent, but when you’re near a busy street, the hear-through mode becomes a cacophonous mess, and it isn’t adjustable. Although over-ear noise-cancelling headphones can’t compete with earbuds in portability, the Bose 700’s case does a decent job of minimizing the space these headphones take up in a bag.

They specialize in call centres for inbound customer service as well as outbound calling. We also handle administrative tasks such as data entry, data mining, and lead generation. This process requires precision and accuracy to ensure the connections are secure and reliable. Another technique used in headphone assembly is welding, which bonds two surfaces together by applying heat and pressure. This method offers more structural integrity than soldering as it creates a stronger bond between the materials. Finally, headphones can also be assembled with screws or other mechanical fasteners.

Over-ear (circumaural) headphones typically offer the most effective ANC. Their earcups can create a tight seal and the earpads act as an additional barrier. That said, the less-common on-ear ANC models can still eliminate plenty of surrounding noise, are often far more comfortable, and stow away more easily.

Noise-canceling tech eliminates background noise, wireless connectivity offers convenience and mobility, and ergonomic design adds comfort. Shape, size, and materials used all affect the sound that reaches our ears. Well-designed headphones give us precise, accurate audio and let us fully lose ourselves in the music. Open-back headphones have perforated or mesh-covered ear cups, allowing air to flow through. This creates a more spacious soundstage, but there can be sound leakage.

Each person has a maximum of 26 activated gates (one for each of the 13 planets in the unconscious and then the conscious charts). Your first instinct might be to find a list of the gates and write down each of yours (that’s what I did on like day 2 of knowing human design). An easier strategy to approach your gates would be to sit with them one at a time and meditate or journal on it. Or you could download this human design app and it has recordings for each of your gifts. I decided to order a Design from you, because I realized that to understand myself (by studying Design on my own) without the help of specialists, it is a long, time-consuming and probably not entirely reliable... It took us several years of painstaking and thorough work to write a unique content. We are continuously improving our product by completing reports with new sections, adding useful infographics, practical recommendations and advice for those in the experiment with living their Design. Human Design Theory is a unique synthesis of ancient esoteric teachings and classical fundamental and applied sciences. Human Design is a knowledge system about energy mechanics and cosmological structure of the world.

The Human Design system, developed by Alan Robert Krakower under pseudonym Ra Uru Hu following a mystical experience, is a complex spiritual modality. It combines the principles of The I’Ching, the zodiac signs, Kabbalah Tree of Life, the Hindu-Brahmin Chakra System, and quantum physics. There’s so much information out there about Human Design and it can get confusing.

Blending the ancient wisdom of Human Design with psychology research, Kate explores and analyses the concepts of the complex system, and shares her insights with her readers. The core mission of Manifesting & Human Design is to simplify the theory of Human Design, to ultimately enlighten and empower individuals and their families to find value in its philosophy. As well as offering valuable free tools to readers and clients alongside extensive informational articles, Kate also offers premium products including a comprehensive personalised Human Design journal. While there’s no evidence to support the concept of Human Design, it’s incredibly fascinating. And thanks to the positive personal experience reported by many who have explored the system, it appears to be growing in popularity. Grasping the concept of definition in your chart can be helpful for gaining a deeper understanding of yourself and what you need to live correctly.

Alchemy Martini Tasting Onboard Bar

You can find the RedFrog Rum Bar next to the Lido Pool on almost every Carnival ship (except the Venezia and Firenze). It is different from the RedFrog Pub, which is usually an inside bar on the Promenade level of the ship. There is also a Heroes Lounge on the Mardi Gras, Celebration, and Jubilee but they don’t have a dedicated bar; you use the bar from Guy’s Pig and Anchor Smokehouse (above).

Punchliner Comedy Club Menu

Refreshing and light, it tastes like a vacation in a glass. It's made with Belvedere vodka, fresh lime juice, Monin watermelon syrup and orange juice and is topped with cucumber wheels. This piano bar will be rocking every night during your cruise. While it's not officially called Piano Bar 88, they share the same cocktail menu. In the heart of the Gateway Zone, there is another new bar, the Latitudes Bar.

The Heroes Tribute Bar and Lounge is a new venue from Carnival that honors the men and women that have served our country. The Golden Jubilee is a new bar that pays tribute to Carnival’s 50 years of sailing. It’s available exclusively on Carnival Celebration in the 820 Biscayne zone. All ships in the Carnival fleet, except Carnival Paradise, Carnival Firenze and Carnival Venezia, have the Alchemy Bar. The Remedy, Hearts of Fire, Restorative Basil Drop, The Perfect Storm and Cucumber Sunrise cocktails are also available sans alcohol.

While the Havana pool area is reserved for guests staying in Havana staterooms and some suites, the Havana Bar is open to everyone. This venue offers Cuban cocktails like the Havana Especial, Cuba Libre, classic mojitos, and even Cuban coffee. During the day, this bar is rather quiet with several guests reading or playing cards in the venue; however, the Havana Bar comes alive in the evenings with Latin music and dancing. Carnival Sunshine has 13 different bars and lounges where you can enjoy a beer or cocktail.

They specialize in cocktails with a distinct Miami twist and are made with Miami-sourced ingredients. The Amari Bar is an elevated, Italian-themed cocktail bar currently only available on the Carnival Venezia. Amari Bar replaces the popular Alchemy Bar and but still features 5 of that bar’s more popular cocktails.

Nightclub Cocktail Menu

You can also find whiskey, cocktails like the Smoky Watermelon Margarita, a Bacon Manhattan, or the signature Pig & Anchor Bloody Mary. RedFrog Pub is a Caribbean themed lounge with pub games and great drinks. It should not be confused with RedFrog Rum Bar or RedFrog Tiki Bar (which are poolside venues) . RedFrog Pub is the only place in the Carnival fleet to get a Fish Bowl drink.

Alchemy Bar on Carnival Cruise Ships

Because the bartender flames the rosemary, the Christmas-y scent makes this herbal elixir rich and inviting. Carnevale Bar & Lounge replaces the Havana Bar found on the Vista-class ships. It’s inspired by the Carnevale di Venezia, an annual festival held in Venice. Guests will find live music and fine Italian wines and cocktails. The Cucumber Sunrise is probably my favorite Alchemy Bar cocktail.

Gather your most delicately-palated friends and family to join you at Alchemy Bar® — the premier onboard spot for a uniquely tasteful bar experience. Choose any four mini-martinis, selecting from flavors like Spicy Chipotle Pineapple, Curative Peach Cosmopolitan… or let us craft you a custom. And once you’ve found a favorite, you can make the full-size version your next order.

Randy Young is the founder and editor-in-chief at Cruise Spotlight. He has been in marketing for 19 years and has been cruising for just as long. Over the years, he's worked with products like TVs, copiers, light bulbs, and EV chargers, but cruising has always been his passion. There's nothing Randy likes more than the first couple of hours on a ship, exploring every nook and cranny and seeing how it's different from everything else out there.

Your drink around the ship is not complete until you’ve made it all the way down to deck 3. The Panorama Bar is located in the Atrium with the larger than life LED Dreamscape display. You can enjoy a drink here almost any time of day while you admire the changing scenes.

While the people making them deserve a whole lot of credit, they are really supporting players, because the drinks are the star of the show at the Alchemy Bar. In true Carnival fashion, several Prohibition-era classics are recreated with a Caribbean flare. The Island Old Fashioned takes the familiar drink (usually made with whiskey) and gives it a twist by instead using spiced infused rum.

These menus are up-to-date as of 2024 and reflect the latest price increase. The Java Blue Cafe is available on the Elation, Horizon, Miracle, Panorama, Radiance, Sunrise, Sunshine, Splendor, Vista, Mardi Gras, and coming soon to the Celebration and Jubilee. This adults only space is one of the largest 18+ pool decks we have ever seen.

Adri and Daniel are incredibly well trained and have a love for their jobs. Drazen may just be the best bartender I have seen on a cruise ship or on land. His ability to create a cocktail that so perfectly fits your flavor choices is honestly amazing. I challenged him to make me a custom cocktail unlike any that I had experienced before and he made it happen. For something really fun, consider signing up for Alchemy Bar’s mixology class, which is offered on just about every sailing.

Try our Drink Package Calculator to see if it’s worth it financially for you. The Havana Bar is a Cuban-themed bar located on Carnival Celebration, Carnival Horizon, Carnival Jubilee, Carnival Mardi Gras, Carnival Panorama, and Carnival Vista. The inside of the bar is home to lively music most evenings. This bar also has an exterior section, but it’s only accessible to guests staying in the Havana area. Bar 820 is the indoor/outdoor bar located on the Carnival Celebration (it replaces the Bar Della Rosa on Mardi Gras).

On the Carnival Freedom, the Alchemy Bar is tucked away at the back of the ship on deck 5. You might run across this bar on your way to a comedy show or to your room. This is one bar I highly suggest seeking out at the beginning of your cruise. The steakhouse is a staple on almost every Carnival cruise ship.

Likewise, the Caribbean Manhattan featured some spiced brown sugar to give it an extra kick. Ironically, Magic would not get her own version of the cocktail bar until a drydock in 2016. Over the years, the bar has been introduced to nearly every ship in the fleet and is already listed as “coming soon” to the Carnival Panorama, rolling out at the end of 2019.
