It also features a signature drink menu; though, there is no actual bar in the lounge. Not to mention, the Havana Bar has a signature drink menu, serving up classic Latin-inspired cocktails like Cuban coffee and mojitos. You don’t want to find it the last night of your cruise and wish that you had more time to visit the bar. We ended up gravitating to the Alchemy Bar almost nightly on our cruise.

The Atrium also hosts several Fun Squad events in the evenings like the Motown Showdown or White Hot Night Party. Don’t be surprised if you see Emma and her crew dancing on the bar top! You will certainly want to grab a few cocktails and join in the fun.

On older ships, it may have a different name, like “David’s Steakhouse,” but the drink menus are similar. If you enjoy spending time in the casino on a cruise, there is a bar here for you too. Hopefully, you do not need the drink to drown your losses.

For drinks offered at multiple venues, the prices are consistent (i.e., a Coors Light and the Atrium Bar will cost the same as a Coors Light at the Pool Bar). When looking at the prices, remember to consider gratuities. Carnival automatically adds an 18% gratuity added to all beverage purchases. It’s a cocktail bar hosted by “mixologists.” The bar offers up tasty concoctions that seem more at place in a trendy 1920s New York bar than on a cruise ship. It’s not meant to be a party atmosphere filled with beachy drinks but a classy place to experiment with different flavors in a warm, comfortable setting.
Today, the drink landscape has undergone a significant transformation. Cruise ship bars now boast a diverse array of choices, featuring craft beers, premium spirits, and meticulously concocted cocktails. Drinks are divided into categories, such as Passion Potions, Energizing Elixirs, Relief for What Ails and the Medicine Cabinet. "Zero-proof elixirs" (aka nonalcoholic drinks) are also available. If you're feeling daring, you can fill out a "prescription" to devise your own cocktail; if you're more indecisive, order a flight of four martinis off an abbreviated menu. If you're looking for some "cocktail therapy," the Alchemy Bar on Carnival cruise ships should be your destination.

Carnival also offers non-alcoholic versions of these cocktails using Lyre's syrups to provide all the flavor with none of the alcohol. Carnival Celebration has 17 different bars and lounges where you can enjoy a beer or cocktail. Below you can see all the different bars that can be found on Celebration along with their current menus and prices. Below you’ll find the bar menus found on the Carnival Cruise Line’s ships. Carnival has a pretty robust beverage program and usually has different drinks available at nearly every bar on a ship, so you’ll see a ton of drink options below.
This bar serves a small specialty menu including the watermelon crush and planters punch, along with signature Carnival and ParchedPig brews. Guy’s Pig & Anchor Smokehouse | Brewhouse is one of the signature restaurants on Carnival Celebration. The menu features all your BBQ favorites with a side of live music. The Watering Hole Bar is located in the Summer Landing Zone on Carnival's Excel-class ships and offers beautiful views. The Serenity Area is the adults-only (21+) area that’s found on every Carnival ship (you can learn more about it here). This area is also home to this bar which serves some special cocktails that are great to sip while enjoying some peace and quiet.
Probably our favorite bar on the ship is the Alchemy Bar. This craft cocktail bar is a throwback to medieval chemistry where the bartenders don lab coats while mixing up your favorite elixirs and potions. This specialty menu offers creatively named drinks like the Remedy, the Deal Closer, and Forty is the New Twenty. I particularly liked the light and fresh Cucumber Sunrise, while DB enjoyed the Alchemist’s twist on a Sidecar. The best part about this venue is that all the drinks on the menu are covered in the Cheers drink package. The BlueIguana Tequila Bar is a signature watering hole on Carnival Cruise Line ships.
Carnival’s Punchliner Comedy Club Bar Menu
The AntioxidantRejuvenate with Belvedere Grapefruit Vodka, Aperol, tangerine, fresh lime juice and a dash of orange juice. Cucumber SunriseBelvedere Vodka, watermelon nectar, muddled cucumber, fresh squeezed lime juice and a splash of orange juice. Martini SeductionGrey Goose L’Orange Vodka, red passion fruit nectar, freshly squeezed lime juice, and a hint of orange. Menu reflects an increase in price from $10.95 to $12.00 in May 2022. The Tides Pool, located completely aft on Deck 16, provides a nice additional space besides the Beach Pool. This pool offers some amazing aft views and is surrounded by several loungers and two whirlpools.
If I could bring them home for my 40th birthday I would in a heartbeat. Heck if I could stash them at my house I would have friends over all the time so they could experience the truly delicious cocktails this team creates. They are master mixologists that understand flavor profiles, mixing and what to add together to make you a cocktail you will love. During the entire week, I am going to admit that between the group we tried many, many cocktails. Some from the Alchemy Bar menu but most of them were custom made by Drazen and the team. Over the week they learned our preferences and fine-tuned our cocktails.
All the way forward on Deck 6, the Punchliner Comedy Club is home to several comedians throughout the week. The club is typically only open in the evenings for adult comedy shows, usually starting around 8 pm. I never thought I would be someone who would ask what ship a bartender was working on but after meeting Drazen and Bojana this week I honestly would. In the future, I would think about asking or looking to see if I could figure out what ship they are working on and book that ship just to hang out at the Alchemy Bar with them. Limelight Lounge is home to shows, dancing, and comedy over the course of the cruise. On the Celebration, Java Blue also serves a variety of snacks throughout the day, both complimentary and extra fee.
Revved Up Mojito MartiniRev it up with Bombay Sapphire Gin, Dry Vermouth, simple syrup, freshly squeezed lime juice and mint leaves. Dance the night away at the Liquid Night Club, the 18+ dance club where DJ's will mix today's hottest hits and yesterday's retro jams. The Song is a jazz bar with live music and a small dance floor.
